I plan to activate GW/NW-003 on thursday this week and have just spotted that the summit is now shown as 1001m. on the latest Maps and not the 999m. as shown on the summits page - time for an upgrade? Barry MW0IML

In reply to MW6BDV: Hi Barry, The Welsh ARM is up to date, but Yes, I see the data base needs updating too. An email to Andy MM0FMF via the contacts page on the SOTA website will get it sorted pronto I'm sure. Thanks for the S2S today, what great weather we had! 73 Roger MW0IDX

In reply to MW0IDX: >I see the data base needs updating too... Nope. That is also correct, and was done a while back. I think what you must mean is the SOTAwatch information pages, which still appear to need an update. I'll get onto this right now. Tom M1EYP

In reply to MW0IDX: > In reply to 2E0YYY: > If you carry a couple of stones up with you each time Mike it will be > a ten pointer in no time :-) Surely I should be bringing a couple of stones down each time, to make the walk easier, not harder Roger ;-) > > Thanks for the S2S today! My pleasure, Roger. BTW, did you find any DX? 73 Mike 2E0YYY

Did the walk in just over 30 minutes. Spent at least another 20 minutes setting up the station :-( Lovely day for radio though. Great to meet you on the summit, Richard. 73 Mike 2E0YYY |
